教师介绍 Teacher's Bio
杨诺一老师毕业于威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校教育学院,获得课程与教学博士学位。她的研究长期关注美国中文学校、华裔中文学习者、中文教师发展,以及语言教育与学生成长之间的关系。杨老师同时拥有威斯康辛大学应用英语语言学和汉语语言学双硕士学位,并曾在大连外国语大学学习对外汉语专业。
Nuoyi Yang received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research has focused on Chinese language schools in the United States, Chinese heritage language learners, teacher development, and the connection between language education and student growth. Nuoyi also holds two master’s degrees in Applied English Linguistics and Chinese Linguistics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and she studied Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at Dalian University of Foreign Languages.
杨老师具有扎实的语言学和教育学背景,也拥有丰富的跨年龄段、跨文化教学经验。她曾教授幼儿中文启蒙、小学课后中文、中学中文、沉浸式双语课程和成人汉语课程,服务过不同年龄、语言背景和学习目标的学生。除中文教学外,杨老师目前从事高等教育研究与教育咨询工作,关注学生体验、教育公平、学生支持服务、质性研究和人工智能辅助研究方法。这些经历也使她能够从更宽广的教育视角理解中文学校的发展、教师支持、学生成长和家校合作。
Nuoyi has a strong background in linguistics and education, as well as extensive teaching experience across age groups and cultural contexts. She has taught beginning Chinese for young children, after-school Chinese programs for elementary students, middle school Chinese courses, dual-language immersion programs, and adult Chinese classes. In addition to Chinese language teaching, Nuoyi currently works in higher education research and consulting, focusing on student experience, educational equity, student support services, qualitative research, and AI-assisted research methods. These experiences allow her to understand Chinese language schools, teacher support, student development, and family-school collaboration from a broader educational perspective.
杨诺一老师自2015年秋天起参与童心艺术中文学校的教学工作,并于2018年加入学校校董会,持续支持学校的发展与建设。多年来,她从一线教师到校务长,见证并陪伴了学校的成长。对杨老师而言,中文学校不仅是孩子们学习语言的地方,也是连接家庭、文化传承和社区支持的重要平台。她希望继续与学校、教师和家长共同努力,为学生创造更温暖、更有意义的中文学习经历。
Nuoyi has been involved in teaching at Madison Fine Arts Chinese School since fall 2015 and joined the school board in 2018. Over the years, she has served MFACS first as a classroom teacher and later as its administrative director. She has witnessed and supported the school’s growth along the way. For Nuoyi, a Chinese language school is not only a place for children to learn the language, but also a place that connects families, cultural heritage, and community. She hopes to continue working with the school, teachers, and parents to create a warm and meaningful Chinese learning experience for students.
